We had a wonderful, low key Easter with Nathan’s family. Not many of us got together this year, which made for a quiet Easter. We had fun making the traditional Geiger Bunny Cake and decorating Easter eggs…okay, I’ll admit, my mother-in-law dyed the eggs and I decorated all 12 of them to look like each of my in-laws! J See if you can pick them out! Both Grandma bunnies were kind to Isaiah—he got a bucket with a shovel and rake and a pair of rain boots. Very cute!
The weather has been just beautiful here in Duluth. It sounds like the rest of the United States hasn’t been quite so lucky this spring. We are certainly counting our blessings. We have managed to get out a couple times already for hikes and picnics and are excited that it is only April. This means we hopefully have MANY more hikes and picnics ahead of us this spring/summer/fall. YAY!! We have even gotten out and biked once with Isaiah already. He did pretty well, although he was a little unsure of it right away. We hope by the end of fall that we’ll have to pry him out of the chariot! Though, don’t mistaken us, we won’t be biking as mode of transportation getting around Duluth. With these killer hills, you won’t find us biking up and down them, unless we get REALLY strong. For now, we’ll stick to the trails; plus, it sounds safer.
